Back in 1991, Boston emcee Ed O.G. his posse (Da Bulldogs) turned Beantown upside down with their hip hop classic, I Got to Have It. Fast forward to 2022, and producer Nick Bike not only remixes the famous track, but virtually reincarnates it with a pounding boom bap extravaganza complete with funky-azz horns that provide the new foundation for Ed O.G.’s vocals to take flight. True heads, rejoice. This remix is boot stompin’ baggy jeans music for the skinny jeans era.
